Roger Brown started out writing jokes for a local morning radio show while in high school. This led to writing gags for nationally syndicated comic strips, magazine Cartoonists and Cracked magazine as a regular for 10 years. During this time he started writing for Marvel comics, D.C. Comics, Disney comics and other publications.

While attending college he was hired by DuPont at the Savannah River Site as a Reactor Operator producing weapons grade plutonium. He is credited with saving the company millions of dollars through inventions, modifications to existing equipment and safety related issues.
Over a 20 year employment Roger received numerous awards and patents for his inventions and creative thinking. One of Roger’s most notable awards was the National Doe Pollution Prevention award for his invention the “Super Sleever” A portable sleeving device that saved 4 million dollars a year in waste reduction for the Savannah River Site and is used throughout the DOE complex nationally.

Realizing his potential for creating marketable inventions Roger turned to the private sector. Today he has inventions licensed in the toy, tool, kitchen, eyewear, and nuclear industries. He has gotten these products licensed and on the market spending less than $100 on each and some for as little as $8. They are Knockout Hockey, Power Pitch Horseshoes, Quick Clip, Pizza Scissors, Super Sleever, Ball Valve Extractor tool and most recently the Pebble Peeler. You can see them all at his website http://www.rogerbrown.net He consults, helping inventors get their products to market, and has branched out as a licensing rep, getting those inventions in front of campanies for possible licensing opportunities. He posts regularly on several Inventor forums, has done numerous radio interviews, speaks at colleges and is used as a resource for articles on inventing.

Roger has written a book about his methods and experiences and is currently looking for a publisher.
